Elevate is awarding a $10,000 Foundations for the Future Grant to a nonprofit or not-for-profit organization making a meaningful difference in the quality of life across our local community.
Grant funding may be used to support programs, services, resources, or small facility improvements.
Eligible projects may focus on areas such as:
- Arts and culture
- Science
- Education
- Health and wellness
- Basic needs
As a local internet provider, Elevate believes connectivity has the power to transform lives. We’re especially interested in supporting organizations that use technology and the internet to create lasting community impact—whether through virtual learning, telehealth services, innovative software, digital tools, or other technology-driven solutions that expand access to essential resources. If your organization is harnessing the internet to create impact, we want to help take your mission even further.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrate a clear, measurable impact on the local community’s quality of life
- Incorporate technology or online tools into the project
- Preference will be given to projects that create lasting, sustainable benefits through technology, especially innovative technology
Key Dates:
- August 1 – August 31, 2026 – Online application period
- September 1 – October 4, 2026 – Application review
- October 2026 – Grant recipient announced
Requirements
Eligible applicants must:
- Have a physical office within Delta or Montrose County
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit organization
- Prove impact by identifying how the organization/program sets up the community for future success
- Be able to quantify their impact on the quality of life for their community
What this grant is not for:
- Event sponsorships
- Large-scale capital facility campaigns
- Private and for-profit businesses
- Start-up organizations
- Organization operational costs
- Travel costs
- Educational scholarships for individuals
- Organizations that have received more than $10,000 in total funding from DMEA or Elevate during the past two years (January 2024-January 2026). Organizations that have received more than $10,000 are ineligible.
