MCF welcomes our newest board members, Astro Ball and David Mize

Astro comes from a military family and has lived in many different places.
He comes with a background of social work and currently works for the
Montrose Recreation District as a grant writer and has successfully gained
significant funding for them. He is also a part of the City Planning Commission,
gaining him access to work with many of our local nonprofits.
We know Astro will be an asset to the Montrose Community Foundation.

David is a retired attorney and graduate of Stanford University and Georgetown Law. David has spent the last 10 years as a resident of Montrose, after relocating from Colorado Springs with his wife Gaynelle. David is a local philanthropist who cares deeply about his community and is always supporting worthy local causes. David’s love for golf inspired him to create the Montrose Junior Golf Alliance fund, is a member of the Colorado Golf Association and a loyal supporter of our local Black Canyon Boys and Girls Club. BCBGC is an important asset to the community that provides quality after school child care and summer programs. David has also always supported the Montrose Community Foundation and recognizes MCF’s impact on the community. We happily welcome David Mize to our board of directors!
