In the 2014/2015 grant cycle, fifteen organizations were awarded funds to continue their valuable outreach in the community.   It is our pleasure to support the following organizations:

All Points Transit: To provide seniors and persons with disabilities transportation to and from dialysis appointments within the City of Montrose.

CASA: To support one .63 FTE position in Montrose for a court appointed special advocate.

21 Century After School Program/Centennial Middle School: To sponsor their class and production for the Shakespeare Project for January-May 2015 by paying partial salaries, benefits, supplies and advertising.

City of Montrose: To ensure and enhance a youth-friendly, sportsmanship-enhancing environment for baseball players ages 9-15 years old by providing experienced umpires for the 2015 competitive youth baseball season.

Girls on the Run: To help cover the cost differential between registration fees and the actual cost of providing the program for 30 girls in a 10 week program.

Haven House: To help fund the cost of Case Management services for the Transitional Housing Program designed to help the homeless to get back into permanent housing on a path to self-sufficiency. Also for the Child Development Program.

Hilltop & Hilltop for Coalition on Homelessness: To support two separate population in Montrose who have unmet basic human needs.

HopeWest(HopeWest Kids Program): To offer preventive services for all community children and teens who are grieving and at risk for becoming troubled youth.

Kids Aid: To help purchase non-perishable food items to help feed students who would otherwise go hungry on weekends.

Partners: To help fund youth activities, teach youth life skills, volunteer training and general operations.

Sharing Ministries: For general operating support.

Uncompahgre Volunteer Legal Aid: To defray personnel costs.

Valley Food Partnership: For the employment of a summer garden educator and supplies.

West End Family Link Center: For general operating for the Kids Program.
